Hey Everybody Welcome To The Young Chamber of Sandon Business and Enterprise College
The aim of Young Chamber is to support meaningful business engagement with teaching and learning, the Government, in partnership with the British Chambers of Commerce, is creating 50 Young Chambers of Commerce.
Young Chambers bring together:
to develop and take forward enterprise initiatives.
From its early pilot stages in Rotherham, Surrey and the Isle of Wight Young Chamber has gathered impressive momentum throughout last year and into 2008.There has been incredible support from Chambers around the UK and now all accredited Chambers of Commerce are signed up to Young Chamber.
The unique Young Chamber concept with its network of business links through local Chambers attracted funding from the DCSF in 2007 allowing a pilot of 51 Young Chambers to get under way. It's estimated that this initiative alone is benefitting over 75,000 young people.
All members of the Sandon Young Chamber would like to thank Tom Paylor for all the hard work that he has put into our website, we would also like to thank Ben Dyer (YC President) and Irene Unwin (Link teacher) for their continued help and support. Without their guidance Sandon Young Chamber would not be the success that it is today.
